Spring '19 Finals Affirmations Day 2
It’s easy to trust a human being because they’re physically here with you. It’s easy to trust certain promises because you can hear the intent in someone’s voice, that’ll persuade you to believe them. But what if you can’t see that person? What if that voice is quiet and still? What if that promise that you’re waiting for involved a whole lot of trust? That’s what happens when we trust God. He isn’t here in the natural, but He’s here fighting for us in the spirit. Whether you’re contemplating about finals, a job after school, or you’re just still in undergrad and you’re wanting to just get to the next semester, trust God. Trust that you got accepted into that school for a reason. Trust that your purpose involves your life, knowledge, and wisdom pertaining to the environment around that school. Trust that your hard work is being honored, and Heaven is rejoicing over your obedience. Trust the fact that when you want to give up/ give in, that God is willing to show up and rescue you each and every time. Trust in yourself and start seeing exactly what God sees in you. Please start trusting our Heavenly Father more. He yearns for your trust and faith to abide in him.
Here are some scriptures that’ll help you build your trust throughout this testy season:
“Offer sacrifices in the right spirit, and trust the Lord.”
Psalms 4:5 NLT
“I trust in you for salvation, O Lord!”
Genesis 49:18 NLT
“But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me.”
Psalms 13:5 NLT
“But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.”
Psalms 56:3 NLT
“I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?”
Psalms 56:11 NLT
