Finals Affirmations Fall 2018 Day 1

‘‘Tis the season to let the Spirit...

Ok so you’ve studied all you can. Long nights at the library, hours upon hours invested in mentally preparing for these sheets of paper with questions on them that somehow determine whether or not you’re a good student. And now here you are about to take this test. Answers to potential questions flooding your head. Strategies for what part of the paper you’ll start with...

Have you done enough?

Did you really study as long as you thought you did? 

Ok chill chill, before you lose what’s left of your brain cells, lets do this.

Now pray this with me 

Father I commit my final into your hands. I let go of my concerns and trust that you have created me with the capacity and ability to excel. So I speak and receive the Spirit of excellence over myself concerning my academic performance. Help me to remember all I have studied and everything I’ve heard in lectures. In any places that I didn’t put in enough effort, please fill in for me. I ask that you would grant me favor from my lectures even as I get graded. I declare razor sharp focus over my brain. I declare that I have the mind of Christ and I receive peace from the Spirit of God. Holy Spirit speak to me. Be my inside man. Soak my head with wisdom, knowledge and understanding to know how to answer my questions. Give me strategies and make me an intelligent person. Please calm my nerves and help me to let Your Spirit lead me. I look forward to the testimonies of your greatness that will come from this. I know I can’t do this on my own, I need Your Spirit to lead me. So I surrender to be led.
